Nicksparrow. Been here awhile on the drz side, recently upgraded and got one of the earlier 22 smcr's to hit the us! Unbelievable bike, just over the moon with it. Even stock the engine pulls harder than it feels it should, and they must have tapped the dark arts to get a big single this smooth.
The KTM 690 SMC R is an absolute riot to ride at any speed and the electronics have done nothing to dilute its rawness. If you love your bike, change the oil often. Equipment 5 out of 5.
I feel like the dealer is sour I paid 3k less than their first offer and is trying to get some money out of me lol. €124,46 for ktm 690 smc r in Belgium. (was in 2020) Second after a year and 4500km was €378, this also included a tyre change (not the tyres themselves). That’s more like I was thinking.
