Got the haptics working fine with your guide, the only thing that isn't working, is the BB crying on the Dualsense Speakers. Everytime BB cries, it got completely mute. Followed your guide with Spider Man, and the haptics and the audio from the Dualsense speakers works just fine. Seems like a implementation stuff with Death Stranding.
Otherwise, DS4windows should do the trick AFAIK. Steam says Partial Controller support. All the other games that say that, I can simply plug in my DS4 and it works beautifully. Also, regarding the button icons showing up - when I play Rainbow Six Siege (not that it is at all related, but it has a PS4 port) the Playstation buttons show up

I never had a problem with the controller until just recently. Some of the key binds are not working. I had to go into steam controller config and add them back in.
